Oxidizing Emulsion 3.5% by Elan

The Oxidizing Emulsion 3.5% by Elan is specially designed to be mixed with eyebrow bleaching and tinting cosmetics from Elan.

The oxidizing emulsion can be mixed with the following Elan products:

• Smart Brow Tinting System
• Brow Gel Tint
• Ultramarine Powder for bleaching eyebrows
• Carbon Powder for bleaching eyebrows

 

*Please note, this Oxidizer cannot be used with the original Elan Eyebrow Gel Tints that are packaged in a large box.

HOW TO USE

STAGES OF EYEBROW TINTING

1) Preparation for the Tinting Procedure

Use Elan Detox Mousse to degrease the hairs and skin before eyebrow tinting or shaping procedures. Remove any remains with a cotton pad moistened with water.

2) Brow Shaping

Build the shape of the eyebrows using any convenient product.

3) Preparation of the Tinting Mixture

Mix the Elan Smart Brow Tinting System or Elan Brow Gel Tint with Oxidizing Emulsion 3.5% in a 1:1 ratio in a non-metallic container.

If you want to additionally deepen and sat urate the colours of the main palette of the Smart Brow Tinting System or create a new shade, use the Eyebrow Tint Color Booster 2.0 according to the mixing ratio below:

Brow Gel Tint (49%) + Oxidizing Emulsion 3.5% (49%) + Booster Concentrate (2%) = tinting mixture (100%)

4) Eyebrow Tinting

Apply the tinting mixture to the eyebrows according to the built-up shape. Depending on the desired result, leave the:

• Elan Smart Brow Tinting System for 5-10 minutes
• Elan Brow Gel Tint for 5-15 minutes

When the specified time is up, wash off the remaining tinting mixture with a cotton pad moistened with water. If the tinting mixture goes beyond the expected shape, we recommend removing the excess with a cotton swab moistened with Elan Remover.

5) Completing the Eyebrow Tinting Procedure

To fix the result, apply Elan Colour Fix to the eyebrows.

BROW BLEACHING STAGES

1) Mix the 3.5% Oxidizing Emulsion with Carbon or Ultramarine Powder in a 2:1 ratio (two parts oxidizing emulsion to one part powder).

2) Apply the bleaching mixture first to the thicker hairs, then use a brush to spread it evenly over the brows. Leave the mixture on for 3-15 minutes, depending on the desired result and hair thickness.

3) Once the desired lightness is achieved, remove the mixture with a cotton pad dampened with water. For a lighter shade, repeat the process.

4) To complete the reaction, apply Elan Detox Mousse and remove the foam with a damp cotton pad.

5) Finish by applying Colour Fix, which contains keratin and sunflower seed oil, to the eyebrows. Tone or tint as needed.

IMPORTANT: After bleaching, do not proceed with standard eyebrow tinting procedures. Using eyebrow dye and oxidant in a 1.1 ratio will result in black eyebrows.

PRECAUTIONS

The brow tint and booster concentrate contain phenylenediamines, phenylenediamines (toluene diamines), resorcinol.

Perform an allergy test 48 hours before use: mix 2 drops of the tint and the oxidizing emulsion and apply this mixture to a small area of the skin of the elbow bend. If there is no redness, swelling, or irritation on the skin, you should proceed with the tinting.

This product is not intended for use by persons under the age of 16. Temporary tattooing with black henna may increase the risk of allergies.

Do not use the tint if you:
- have a rash on your face or a sensitive, irritated, or damaged scalp;
- have had any reaction after hair colouring;
- had a reaction to a temporary 'black henna' tattoo in the past.

Wear protective gloves. Do not use metal objects when working with the product. Not for lash tinting. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water. Rinse thoroughly after application. In case of an allergic reaction, be sure to consult a dermatologist.

STORAGE: store in a dry place, out of reach of children, between +5°C and +25°C. Keep away from direct sunlight.
