Brow Gel Tint for Eyebrows by ELAN

 

The Brow Gel Tint by Elan guarantees long-lasting effect of evenly covered eyebrows, and also provides them with an additional care. It works in combination with ÉLAN Oxidant 1%. 

 

What's new? A new vegan keratin is a component with powerful regenerative properties that provides additional care for the hairs during the tinting procedure. It leaves an imprint on the skin and does not darken hairs. The more liquid texture provides a stronger skin imprint and can be applied in layers to achieve the desired shade. 

 

This system is also suitable for tinting after bleaching and lamination, as well as on dense hair.

HOW TO USE

BROW TINTING STEPS

 

1) Preparation for the eyebrow tinting procedure

 

Use Elan Detox Mousse to cleanse the hair and skin before the eyebrow tinting procedure. Remove the foam with a cotton pad moistened with water.

 

2) Brow shaping

 

Create the shape of the eyebrows using any product suitable for this purpose.

 

3) Preparation of the coloring mixture

 

Mix Brow Gel Tint with Elan 1% Oxidant in a non-metallic container at a ratio of 1:1.

 

Note: The colour of the tint may vary from light brown to black due to contact with air after opening the package. This is normal for the tint composition and does not affect the result of eyebrow tinting or the reproducibility of this result with periodic use of the same tinting mixture.

 

4) Brow tinting

 

Apply the tint to the eyebrows according to the shaped form. Exposure time is 5-15 minutes (depending on the desired result).

 

After the exposure time, remove the tint with a cotton pad moistened with water or Elan Detox Mousse. If using the mousse, remove any remaining foam with a cotton pad moistened with water.

 

Note: If the tint goes beyond the desired form, immediately remove it with a cotton swab moistened with water or ELAN toner-remover (NOCOLOR or Smart Skin COLOUR REMOVER or Skin Colour CREAM REMOVER) to prevent the tint from drying on the skin.

 

5. Completion of the eyebrow tinting procedure

 

To fix the achieved result, apply Elan Colour Fix colour fixing fluid to the eyebrows.

 

Precautionary Measures

 

The oxidant contains hydrogen peroxide. The eyebrow gel tint contains phenylenediamines. Before use, perform an allergy test 48 hours in advance: mix 2 drops of tint and oxidant and apply the mixture to a small area of ​​the skin on the inner elbow. If there is no redness, swelling, or irritation on the skin, you can proceed with tinting.
Mixing ratio is 1:1. For professional use only. Hair dyes can cause severe allergic reactions. Read and follow the instructions for use. This product is not intended for use by persons under 16 years of age. A temporary «black henna» tattoo may increase the risk of allergy.

 

Do not use tint if you have:

• Rash on the face or sensitive, irritated, or damaged scalp skin;
• Any reaction after hair dyeing;
• Reaction to a temporary «black henna» tattoo in the past.

 

Use protective gloves. Do not use metal objects while working with the product. Do not use for eyelash tinting. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If the product gets into the eyes, rinse immediately with water. Thoroughly rinse after application. In case of an allergic reaction, consult a dermatologist.

TIPS

Formula for tinting brown haired clients:

 

Neutral Shade:

• Neutral Brown + Oxidizer 1% = 1:1

 

Cold Shade:

• Neutral Brown + Indigo Booster + Oxidant 1% = 1:1:1

 

Warm/ Ginger Shade:

• Neutral Brown + Orange Booster + Oxidant 1% = 1:1:1

 

How to achieve different levels of skin stain:

• Light stain= 3-5 min exposure
• Noticeable stain= 5-8 min exposure
• Strong stain= 8-10 min exposure

 

If the product isn't pumping out:

• If the product is not pumping out right away, all that is required is to tap the top of the bottle (upside down) onto a table to jolt the mechanism
