Ruthie Belle Lash Lift Kit

1) Start applying Lifting Lotion from the outer corner by positioning the top line first. Use a super precise Angled Brush for this to ensure the top line is very even.

Start from the outer corner because lashes in the outer corner need more processing time than those in the inner corner. Make the top line even so that the result is even. Lashes only change their shape in the areas where the lotions have been applied, so an uneven top-line results in an uneven lift.

The exact position of the top line/thickness of the lotion layer depends on the type of silicone you are working with, the growth direction of the eyelashes, and the desired look.

2) Then, fill the area underneath the silicone's top line and bottom edge with lifting lotion. The lotions are very gentle, so they should be applied all the way to the bottom edge of the silicone without getting on the waterline (leaving a gap of 1mm or less). No product should ever touch the eye's waterline because it is much more sensitive than the rest of the eyelid. If you are afraid of getting the lotion on the waterline, leave a 1mm gap between the silicone and the waterline. If you leave a gap of 1+ millimeters, the lift will not be as strong as it's supposed to be.

When the lifting lotion has done its job, it’s time to neutralize its effects and give the lashes the final shape with fixing lotion. Inner corner lashes are thinner and need less processing time than the outer corner lashes. 

3) Apply Fixing Lotion starting from the inner corner of the eye to achieve an even lift. Lash lifts look the best when the lift is even.

4) Process Fixing Lotion for two minutes less than you processed lifting lotion, with the maximum processing time being 10 minutes. 

• For example, if you processed lifting lotion for 12 minutes, you should process fixing lotion for 10 minutes.
• If you processed lifting lotion for even 16 minutes, you should still process fixing lotion for 10 minutes.

Covering Shine Repair with a compensator to prevent lashes from popping off the shield before the right time is necessary. Remove the compensator after 5 minutes with an upward movement so that most of the leftover Shine Repair comes off with the compensator.

5) Thoroughly cover lashes from root to tip, paying particular attention to the tips of lashes, which tend to be the most dehydrated and damaged.

6) Let soak for 5 minutes, taking care to touch up regions that have already absorbed the product.

7) Gently remove excess product with a damp Q-tip or micro brush.

How to Use Powder Lift:

To Thicken Step 1 or 2: Combine 5-20% powder until desired consistency is achieved. With this method you can combine the powder with any solution on the market. Please Note: that thicker products MAY take SLIGHTLY longer to penetrate so don't over thicken it if you don't need to. 

To Transform into a Glue Balm: Pair it with a Cysteamine-based line (Like Ruthe Belle) to transform your Step 1 into a glue balm. Add 30-50% ratio, depending on lash thickness and stubbornness, to create a thick, adhesive-like texture. Timing does not need to be adjusted. 

Glueless Method: Combine it with a Cysteamine-based line (Ruthie Belle or other) to thicken your Step 1 solution by adding 20-40% ratio, allowing for direct application to the full length of lashes without the need for wrapping them around shields during step 1.
