The Elan Oxidizing Emulsion 2% is a component of the signature SMART BROW TINTING SYSTEM.

 

It is designed to be mixed with "Deep Brow Tint 2.0" and "Eyebrow Tint Colour Booster 2.0". It guarantees an impeccable tinting result thanks to a perfectly balanced composition and gentle creamy texture. The hydrogen index (pH) of the finished tinting mixture is neutral, thanks to which the tinting procedure does not injure the hair and does not overdry the skin.

The Oxidizing Emulsion 2% by Elan is specially designed for mixing with the Elan Smart Brow Tinting System Deep Brow Tint 2.0 and The Colour Booster. The distinct formulation and smooth, creamy texture of the emulsion guarantees flawless results each time. The emulsifying agents protect the hair during the tinting procedure. The pH of the ready to use tinting mixture is 7.

 

The oxidizing emulsion does not change the colour temperature like in the gel tints. Due to this, the the tint to oxidizer ratio will always be 1:1.

1) Start by using the Elan Cleansing Detox-Mousse to prepare the skin and hair.

 

2) Define the eyebrow shape with the Elan Powder Eyebrow Pencil.

 

3) Mix the tint and color booster with the Oxidant Emulsion 2% in the ratio of 1:1 in the measuring cup or tint bowl (or non-metallic bowl). Spread evenly on the eyebrows using the applicator. 

 

4) Use Eyebrow Tint Colour Boosters 06 Indigo or 07 Orange by ELAN professional line according to the mixing scheme in order to add more depth and intensity to the eyebrow tint basic colour palette or to create a new shade: Eyebrow Tint (49 %) + Oxidizing Emulsion (49 %) + Colour Booster (2 %) = Tinting Mixture (100 %).

 

5) Apply the tinting mixture on the eyebrows according to the preliminary defined shape. Leave it to develop for 5-10 minutes depending on the desired eyebrow colour intensity. Then remove the tint completely with a cotton pad moistened with water. If the tinting mixture appeared to be out of the desired eyebrow shape, moisten a cotton bud with the Elan Skin Colour Remover and remove the excess of the tint.

 

6) Check the color and if it is desired, remove the tint completely with water to stop the chemical reaction. If needed, gently remove the excess tint around the eyebrows using the Elan Skin Color Remover.

 

7) Finish the procedure by applying the Elan Colour Fix to seal and secure the tint.

 

Precautions

 

The oxidizing emulsion contains hydrogen peroxide. The eyebrow tint and booster concentrate contain p-Phenylenediamine, p-Phenylenediamines (toluene diamines), and resorcinol.

 

Before use, 48 hours prior, it is necessary to perform an allergy test: mix 2 drops of tint and oxidizing emulsion and apply the mixture to a small area of ​​the skin on the elbow bend. If there is no redness, swelling, or irritation on the skin, you can proceed with coloring.

 

For professional use only. Hair dyes can cause severe allergic reactions. Read and follow the instructions carefully. This product is not intended for use by persons under the age of 16. Black henna temporary tattoos may increase the risk of allergy.

 

Do not use the tint if you have:

 

• Rash on the face or sensitive, irritated, or damaged scalp skin
• Experienced any reaction after hair coloring
• Had a reaction to black henna temporary tattoos in the past

 

Use protective gloves. Avoid using metallic objects when working with the product. Do not apply to eyelashes. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If the product gets into your eyes, rinse them immediately with water. Thoroughly rinse off after application. In case of an allergic reaction, be sure to consult a dermatologist.
