KeraBoost Lash and Brow Fixing Serum Step 2 is a component of innovative KeraVEG Lash Lift & Brow Lamination System. Step 2 is specially designed for the SECOND stage of lash lift and brow lamination procedures. It gives hair additional care.

LASH LIFT PROCEDURE

 

1) Client's Eyelash Condition Diagnosis

 

Determine the exposure time and type of product, KeraSoft - either KeraSoft Eyelash and Eyebrow Lifting Serum Step 1 or KeraSoft Eyelash Lifting Serum Step 1, according to the following criteria:

 

• 1st group: thick and straight eyelash hairs, not previously treated with chemical compounds (lifting, tinting, bleaching) — KeraSoft Eyelash Lifting Serum Step 1, exposure time: 8-10 minutes;
• 2nd group: medium or thin eyelash hairs, not previously treated with chemical compounds (lifting, tinting, bleaching) — KeraSoft Eyelash Lifting Serum Step 1, exposure time: 5-7 minutes;
• 3rd group: medium thickness eyelash hairs, previously treated with chemical compounds (lifting, tinting, bleaching) — KeraSoft Eyelash and Eyebrow Lifting Serum Step 1, exposure time: 8-10 minutes;
• 4th group: thin eyelash hairs, previously treated with chemical compounds (lifting, tinting, bleaching) — KeraSoft Eyelash and Eyebrow Lifting Serum Step 1, exposure time: 5-7 minutes.

 

Note: The maximum exposure time for KeraSoft Eyelash and Eyebrow Lifting Serum Step 1 or KeraSoft Eyelash Lifting Serum Step 1 is 10 minutes.

 

Note: The room temperature directly affects the activity of both products - the higher the temperature, the faster the reaction rate.

 

The exposure time for KeraBoost Eyelash and Eyebrow Fixing Serum Step 2 is 7 minutes and is not dependent on the client's eyelash hair condition. The exposure time for KeraSoft Eyelash and Eyebrow Lifting Serum Step 1 or KeraSoft Eyelash Lifting Serum Step 1 remains the same.

 

2) Preparation for Eyelash Lifting Procedure

 

2.1 Use ELAN DETOX FOAM to cleanse the eyelashes before the lifting procedure. Remove the foam with a cotton pad moistened with water.

 

2.2 Secure a silicone pad of the appropriate size on the upper eyelid.

 

2.3 Distribute and secure the eyelashes on the pad using ELAN professional line eyelash lamination fixing gel and an applicator.

 

3) Eyelash Curl Formation — KeraSoft Eyelash and Eyebrow Lifting Serum Step 1 or KeraSoft Eyelash Lifting Serum Step 1

 

3.1 Apply KeraSoft Step 1 to the area where the eyelash curl is to be formed. Exposure time: 5-10 minutes.

 

Note: The exposure time and type of product (KeraSoft Eyelash and Eyebrow Lifting Serum Step 1 or KeraSoft Eyelash Lifting Serum Step 1) must correspond to those indicated for the chosen group of eyelashes.

 

3.2 After the exposure time, remove the residue of the product first with a dry brush in the direction of eyelash hair growth, and then with a microbrush or cotton swab moistened with water.

 

4) Fixation of eyelash hair direction - KeraBoost Eyelash and Eyebrow Fixing Serum Step 2

 

4.1 Fixation of eyelash hair direction without tinting

 

4.1.1 Apply KeraBoost Eyelash and Eyebrow Fixing Serum Step 2 to the entire eyelash area with a thick layer. Exposure time: 7 minutes.

 

4.1.2 After the exposure time, remove the residue of the product first with a dry brush in the direction of eyelash hair growth, and then with a microbrush or cotton swab moistened with water or ELAN DETOX FOAM. If foam is used, remove the foam with a cotton pad moistened with water.

 

4.2 Fixation of eyelash hair direction with tinting on a pad– KeraBoost Eyelash and Eyebrow Fixing Serum Step 2 + KeraTint Eyelash Tint

 

4.2.1 Mix KeraTint Eyelash Tint and KeraBoost Eyelash and Eyebrow Fixing Serum Step 2 in a non-metallic container at a ratio of 1:2.

 

Note: The colour of the tint in the bottle may vary from light brown to black as a result of contact with air after opening the package. This is normal for the dyes used and does not affect the result of eyelash coloring.

 

4.2.2 Apply the mixture to the entire eyelash area with a thick layer. Exposure time: 7 minutes.

 

4.2.3 After the exposure time, remove the residue of the mixture first with a dry brush in the direction of eyelash growth, and then with a microbrush or cotton swab moistened with water or ELAN DETOX FOAM. If foam is used, remove the foam with a cotton pad moistened with water.

 

4.2.4 To fix the result obtained after tinting, apply ELAN COLOUR FIX color fixing fluid to the eyelashes.

 

5) Eyelash care - KeraCare Eyelash and Eyebrow Care Serum Solution 3

 

5.1 After using KeraBoost Eyelash and Eyebrow Fixing Serum Step 2 or a mixture of KeraTint Eyelash Tint + Eyelash and Eyebrow Fixing Serum Step 2, apply a small amount of KeraCare Eyelash and Eyebrow Care Serum Step 3 to cleanse eyelashes and evenly distribute. Leave on until completely absorbed. The product does not require rinsing.

 

EYEBROW LAMINATION PROCEDURE

 

1) Diagnosis of Client's Eyebrow Hair Condition

 

Determine the exposure time for KeraSoft Eyelash and Eyebrow Lifting Serum Step 1 according to the following criteria:

 

• 1st group: thick, stiff, coarse eyebrow hairs, untreated with chemical compounds (tinting, bleaching) — exposure time: 8–10 minutes
• 2nd group: medium thickness, natural, healthy eyebrow hairs or previously treated with chemical compounds (tinting, bleaching) — exposure time: 5–7 minutes

 

Note: For eyebrow lamination, it is necessary to exclusively use KeraSoft Eyelash and Eyebrow Lifting Serum Step 1.

 

Note: The maximum exposure time for KeraSoft Eyelash and Eyebrow Lifting Serum Step 1 is 10 minutes.

 

Note: The room temperature directly affects the product's activity — the higher the temperature, the faster the reaction rate.

 

The exposure time for KeraBoost Eyelash and Eyebrow Fixing Serum Step 2 is 7 minutes and is independent of the client's eyebrow hair condition and the exposure time for KeraSoft Eyelash and Eyebrow Lifting Serum Step 1.

 

2) Preparation for Eyebrow Lamination Procedure
Use ELAN DETOX FOAM to cleanse the eyebrow hairs and skin before the eyebrow lamination procedure. Remove the foam with a cotton pad moistened with water.

 

3) Brow Shaping - KeraSoft Eyelash and Eyebrow Lifting Serum Step 1

 

Note: If the client has thin and sensitive skin, it is necessary to apply ELAN SKIN PROTECTOR protective cream with argan cream oil to the eyebrows (thin layer) and the areas of skin around the eyebrows (thick layer).

 

Note: If the client has sensitive skin and thin eyebrow hairs, in addition to applying the protective cream ELAN SKIN PROTECTOR, add 1 drop of KeraCare Eyelash and Eyebrow Care Serum Step 3 to KeraSoft Eyelash and Eyebrow Lifting Serum Step 1 and mix thoroughly before applying to the eyebrows.

 

3.1 Apply KeraSoft Eyelash and Eyebrow Lifting Serum Step 1 to the eyebrows. Exposure time: 5–10 minutes.

 

Note: The maximum exposure time should not exceed the exposure time for the selected hair group.

 

3.2 After the exposure time has elapsed, remove the remaining product using a cotton pad moistened with water.

 

Note: During the eyebrow shaping stage, it is essential to consider the direction of the client's hair growth. Changes should be gradual to avoid bends.

 

4) Eyebrow Hair Direction Fixation - KeraBoost Eyelash and Eyebrow Fixing Serum Step 2

 

Note: If the client has thin and sensitive skin, it is necessary to apply ELAN SKIN PROTECTOR protective cream with argan cream oil to the eyebrows (thin layer) and the areas of skin around the eyebrows (thick layer).

 

4.1 Apply KeraBoost Eyelash and Eyebrow Fixing Serum Step 2 to the eyebrows and distribute it evenly over the entire surface, carefully laying the hairs in the desired direction. Exposure time: 7 minutes.

 

4.2 After the exposure time has elapsed, remove the remaining product using a cotton pad moistened with water or ELAN DETOX FOAM. If using foam, remove the foam with a cotton pad moistened with water.

 

5) Eyebrow Hair Care - KeraCare Eyelash and Eyebrow Care Serum Step 3

 

After applying KeraBoost Eyelash and Eyebrow Fixing Serum Step 2 or undergoing an eyebrow tinting procedure, apply KeraCare Eyelash and Eyebrow Care Serum Step 3 to the pre-cleansed eyebrow area and distribute it evenly. Leave it on until fully absorbed. The product does not require rinsing.

 

Note: If an eyebrow tinting procedure is planned after completing the lamination procedure, apply KeraCare Eyelash and Eyebrow Care Serum Step 3 after applying the ELAN COLOUR FIX colour fixing fluid.

 

Note: If an eyebrow tinting procedure is planned after completing the lamination procedure, apply KeraCare Eyelash and Eyebrow Care Serum Step 3 as a care product after the tinting procedure.

 

Note: If an eyebrow tinting procedure is planned after completing the lamination procedure, apply KeraCare Eyelash and Eyebrow Care Serum Step 3 as a product that minimizes the darkening of the eyebrow hairs before the tinting procedure.

 

Note: Eyebrow correction should be performed exclusively after the lamination procedure. It is recommended to use tweezers for correction to minimize skin damage.

 

Recommendations after Lash Lift and Brow Lamination

 

! It is not recommended to tint eyebrows with henna or undergo eyebrow bleaching procedures, as the result can be extremely unpredictable: the hair structure may be disrupted (dry, dull hair), which can lead to breakage and hair loss.
! For 24 hours after the procedure, avoid visiting the sauna, steam room, or tanning bed, do not allow mechanical disruption of the eyebrow shape or eyelash curl (sleeping face down on a pillow), and do not comb eyebrows and eyelashes.
! For 48 hours after the procedure, avoid using aggressive cosmetic products and procedures on eyebrows and eyelashes (scrubs, peels, alcohol-containing lotions, laser procedures).

 

Restrictions on Lash Lift & Brow Lamination Procedures

 

Absolute restrictions include individual sensitivity to the components in the products used, any skin damage in the eyebrow and eye area, redness, eruptions of any origin, allergic reactions, as well as tanning bed usage, and laser procedures within 24 hours before lash lifting and/or eyebrow lamination.

 

Precautions

 

KeraSoft contains thioglycolates and ammonia, KeraBoost contains hydrogen peroxide, and KeraTint contains phenylenediamines, toluene-2,5-diamines, and resorcinol. These products may cause an allergic reaction. Before use, it is necessary to perform an allergy test: apply 2 drops of each product to a small area of skin on the inner elbow 48 hours before use. If no redness, swelling, or irritation occurs, you may proceed with the procedure.

 

For professional use only. Read and follow the application instructions. Use protective gloves. For external use only. Do not use metal objects while working with the products. Avoid contact with eyes. If the product comes into contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with water. In case of an allergic reaction, consult a dermatologist.

 

KeraTint is not intended for use by persons under 16 years of age. Temporary black henna tattoos may increase the risk of allergy. Do not use the tint if you have:

 

• a rash on the face or sensitive, irritated, or damaged scalp skin
• experienced any reaction after hair or eyelash coloring
• had a reaction to a temporary black henna tattoo in the past
