The Brow Fix Up Eyebrow Lamination is an innovative system that contains a restructuring agent called cysteamine hydrochloride which carefully remodels the disulfide bonds unlike traditional ammonium thioglycolate during step 1. The second step reinforces the hair's disulfide bonds and guards against damage, while setting the eyebrow hair shape. The natural pH of the hairs is restored, with the added support of a nourishing complex based on cationic and wetting agents. This conditioning effect adds shine to the hair and leaves skin feeling soft. 

 

Step 1 is the solution used for the FIRST part of the eyebrow lamination procedure. The product softens the hair cuticle, thus opening the cuticle scales and penetrating carefully into the hairs. The mild formula of the solution ensures the perfect eyebrow hair straightening and providing the maximum protection of hair bonds. The pH of the solution is 9.0‒9.5. *The product does not contain thioglycolic acid salt and ammonium hydroxide.

 

Step 2 is the solution used for the SECOND part of the eyebrow lamination procedure. The ideal formulation of the product ensures the maximum interaction with Step 1 providing the expected result. The pH of the solution is 2.5‒3.0. *The product does not contain sodium bromate and is safe to use in Canada.

1) Apply Elan Cleansing Detox Mousse on eyebrows to remove and degrease area of all impurities. 

 

2) Apply a thin layer of the Elan Argan Oil Skin Protector on the eyebrows and a thicker layer on the skin around the eyebrows. It is recommended to use the FLEX Beauty Blackwood 102 Brush.

 

3) Step 1: Apply the solution on the eyebrows and leave it to develop for 6-15 minutes depending on the eyebrow type (see below). It is Recommended to apply solution with Elan Blackwood #3.

 

Eyebrow Hair Types:

 

Group 1: Eyebrow hairs are thick, spiky, not having undergone chemical procedures earlier (eyebrow tinting or bleaching procedures) – processing time is 12–15 minutes.

 

Group 2: Eyebrow hairs are of medium thickness, natural, healthy or having undergone chemical procedures earlier (eyebrow tinting or bleaching procedures) – processing time is 6–12 minutes.

 

4) Cover the eyebrow area carefully with the FLEX Beauty Brow Lamination Wrap to enhance the solution effect. The processing time is 3–15 minutes. When the processing time is finished, remove the film and brush the hairs carefully setting them in the right direction. Check the hair condition. Cover the eyebrow area with the film again and leave it to develop for 3–5 minutes, if needed.

 

5) Processing times should NOT exceed recommended times for each hair type. Remove the excess solution with a cotton pad, moistened with water. 

 

6) Apply a thin layer of the Elan Argan Oil Skin Protector on the eyebrows and a thicker layer – on the skin around the eyebrows. It is recommended to use the FLEX Beauty Blackwood 102 Brush.

 

7) Step 2: Apply and spread the solution on the eyebrows setting the hairs carefully in the right direction. NOTE: The amount of the solution used in step 2 should be equal to the amount of the solution used in step 1 of creating the eyebrow shape.

 

8) Cover the eyebrow area carefully with the special plastic film to enhance the solution effect. NOTE: The processing time for Step 2 stage should be equal to the processing time at Step 1 of creating the eyebrow shape. It is not advised to reduce the processing time.

 

9) When the processing time is finished, remove the excess solution with a cotton pad, moistened with water.

 

10) Apply Elan Cleansing Detox Mousse on the eyebrows to stop the chemical reaction. Remove foam with a cotton pad, moistened with water.

 

11) Apply the tinting mixture immediately after using the Elan Cleansing Detox Mousse. 

 

12) If tinting procedure is optional, follow with Elan Colour Fix Setting Fluid after cleansing for the best results.
